The 5th Pacific Ocean Chinese Mission Conference, held in Brisbane (22-25 September 2009), was organised by Chinese Christian Mission Australia and Gospel Operation International Australia. Eighty participants (including missionaries) from USA, Thailand, New Caledonia, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Zealand, PNG, Melbourne and Sydney attended the conference. Besides having Rev Daniel Po Chuen Chan as the main speaker, there was also sharing by other pastors and missionaries. Four workshops were conducted to equip participants with more information about mission and how they can be more involved. Three mission rallies were also, with the last one attracting more than 200 attendees. Apart from having been greatly encouraged, everyone felt the great needs in the mission fields.
