This is the second time that CCMA sent a short-term mission (STM) team to Macau. The small city, populated with over half a million people, is thriving with its gambling industry. There are currently over 16 casinos which employ over 10% of the population.

The 5th Pacific Ocean Chinese Mission Conference, held in Brisbane (22-25 September 2009), was organised by Chinese Christian Mission Australia and Gospel Operation International Australia. Eighty participants (including missionaries) from USA, Thailand, New Caledonia, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Zealand, PNG, Melbourne and Sydney attended the conference.
